After the horrible week we all experienced I thought this week’s recommendations should be light hearted and fun. We all need a bit of levity these days.

In this regard I am focusing on the Sedaris family. David Sedaris and Amy Sedaris are siblings and two of the funniest people alive so this week will feature them.

THE BEST OF ME by: David Sedaris – For those of you who have never read anything by David Sedaris you are in for a real treat. I have often read his books on the way to work and embarrassed myself in the subway laughing out loud. This book is a collection of some of his best stories that reflect zany perspective of life that was in many ways shaped by his nutty family (many of the stories are about his family). CONAN NEEDS A FRIEND – GUEST – Amy Sedaris – As many of you know, this is my favourite podcast. I often walk my dog and listen to Conan and again, laugh out loud. This episode features Amy Sedaris who is f&*($ing hilarious.

WARNING – DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS PODCAST AROUND CHILDREN OR IMPRESSIONABLE ADULTS. Amy has a bit of a potty mouth but she does it well.
